Prof Jonathan Heddle visits universities across Japan

In his recent trip to Japan, CPBM Director Prof Jonathan Heddle visited colleagues across several universities, to share ideas, opportunities for collaboration and the research taking place at the Centre for Programmable Biological Matter and Durham University.

Over the course of the 7-day visit, Prof Heddle was hosted by researchers at Science Tokyo KEIO, Waseda University, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and Kyushu University.

At Science Tokyo, Prof Heddle visited the Science Tokyo Yokohama Campus, meeting with several leading researchers based at Research Center for Autonomous Systems Materialogy.

At AIST’s Tsukuba campus, Prof Heddle visited with top researchers Sumire Fujiwara, Yuji Teramura, Hideki Watanabe, Nobutaka Mitsuda, Masahiko Imashimizu, and Hikaru Suenaga.

Prof Jonathan Heddle also met with researchers Takeshi Mori, Noriho Kamiya, Ryo Kubota, Shigehiro Yoshimura, and Kenji Inaba, at Kyushu University for discussions on exciting research and future collaboration opportunities.
