CPBM at RNA UK Conference
Earlier this year, the group of researchers at the Centre for Programmable Biological Matter working on RNA attended the annual RNA UK conference hosted in Windermere.
Dr. Ting-Yu Lin delivered a fantastic talk on the context-dependent effects of pseudouridylation on tRNA structural integrity and stability.
CPBM PhD students Yasmin and Ethan, and our visiting student Yong-Han all presented their work during the poster sessions, and fielding questions from interested peers and colleagues who were keen to share ideas on the potential applications and direction of this research.
A beautiful hike in the Baystones was also enjoyed alongside the conference’s gala dinner, where our team was able to collaborate and share a drink with fellow researchers.
The RNA team is looking forward to representing the CPBM and providing an update on our RNA research at next year’s RNA UK conference.
