CPBM at Astbury Conversation 2026

Earlier this year, members of the Centre for Programmable Biological Matter attended the annual Astbury Conversation conference in Leeds.

Dr. Ting-Yu Lin and Prof Jonathan Heddle attended, alongside 2nd year CPBM PhD student Will Hall, who was awarded a travel grant from the Astbury Conversation organisers to attend this year’s conference.

Will presented his research via a poster at the conference, and fielded questions from interested peers and colleagues who were keen to share ideas on the potential applications and direction of his research. Will went on to win 2nd prize for his poster.

The CPBM team is looking forward to representing the CPBM and providing an update on our research at next year’s Astbury Conversation UK conference.
