Our Collaborators

We have many collaborators, some of our active collaborators are listed here (apologies to those we have forgotten!)

  1. Mathias Brust
    1. Mathias is helping us to use and understand gold nanoparticles
  2. Bernard Piette
    1. Bernard is involved in mathematical understanding of both self assembled bionano structures and self-replicators.
  3. Anne Taormina
    1. Anne helps us to understand the mathematical feasibility of self-replicators.
  4. Gary Sharples
    1. We work with Gary on understanding phage proteins, especially those involved in interaction with DNA.
  5. Kenji Iwasaki
    1. We have a long-standing collaboration with Kenji who provides us with his expertise in cryo-EM to understand 3D structures of some of our favourite proteins.
  6. Hideki Shigematsu
    1. Hideki is a cryo-EM expert who is helping us to gain high-resolution insights into some of our designed proteins.
  7. Julian Tanner
    1. We work with Julian on DNA nanotechnology projects and his expertise in producing DNA aptamers is especially useful.
  8. Ilia Platzman
    1. We are working together with Ilia to try to combine our bionano with his expertise with lipids.
  9. Craig Kaplan
    1. Craig helps us to understand and visualise unusual geometries.
  10. Elżbieta Pyza
    1. Elżbieta is our partner in “Symfonia” funded research and brings expertise in TEM.
