Yusuke Sakai in our lab was recently awarded a prestigious Polonez Fellowship. As part of the project we will be recruiting a full time Technician and a full time Masters student to start later in the summer

The project is a part of our on-going research to design build and develop molecular robotics, ultimately for applications such as smart drugs. We use DNA nanotechnology, particularly DNA origami to build our robots. The first paper about DNA origami is here and is a good introduction to the concept.
